About Riaz Solker

Riaz Solker is a talented and accomplished filmmaker, director, actor, and lecturer. He has taught acting at UCT CDTPS, CityVarsity, and various high schools, and runs acting workshops. Riaz writes, produces, directs, and acts, primarily in film and documentary. He is actively involved with amateur theatre groups and the Metro South Education Department, working to expand the Creative Arts Curriculum. Riaz is passionate about addressing educational shortcomings, especially for disadvantaged youth, as he believes it directly influences the future of our nation.
